RAYMOND HUESSY
ASSOCIATE SCENIC DESIGNER

Raymond Huessy has worked in theatre, opera, and film; he assisted on the Broadway companies of 42nd Street, Nicholas Nickleby, and Miss Saigon. Since 1982, he has been John Napier's scenic associate on most of the world's productions of Cats (Broadway; five US touring sets; three UK tours, including this one; the Canadian, German, Swiss and two Australian productions), and on two productions each of Starlight Express (US national tour, Las Vegas company), Miss Saigon (second US national tour, German company), and Sunset Boulevard (US national tour, Australian company). Movie work includes Dressed to Kill, The Muppets Take Manhattan, and the Chris Rock feature Bad Company. He recently assisted on the first national, Japanese, and West End companies of the dance musical Contact, and is currently preparing another US tour of Starlight Express.
