From the age of eleven Alex trained at the Royal Ballet School, Elmhurst and then the Hammond School graduating in July 2002. During his training he took numerous solo roles in ballet and musical theatre and also performed with the Royal Ballet Company, Birmingham Royal Ballet and English National Ballet. In addition Alex is an experienced acrobat and gymnast. In July 2002 Alex gained a contract with the UK national tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast performing the roles of the Doormat and Le Fou. After this, Alex joined the casts of Cats for the UK national tour playing the role of Bill Bailey and understudying as well as playing the role of Mr Mistofolees. Other UK tours include playing the Mute in The Fantasticks and Matt the Suitor in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Alex is thrilled to be back in the cast of Cats.
