AGNES VANDERPOTE

Agnes was born in France and trained at
the Centre du Marais and the Centre Harmonic
in Paris.
She has appeared in many different theatrical
productions across Europe.
In France: Moliere’s Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme
(Theatre de la Renaissance,Paris); 4 jours a
Paris (Opera de Nancy); played Ermengarde in
Hello, Dolly!(French tour); Happy Feet
(Theatre du Dejazet, Paris and Germany and
Switzerland tour).
In Germany, original cast of Gaudi, Das Musical
(Aachen Stadteater and Koln Musical Dome).
In Belgium, Agnes played Rumpleteazer in Cats
(Antwerpen Stadschouwburg).
In the UK, Agnes joined Cats (New London
Theatre) playing Electra, Jemima and the White
Cat as well as Dance Captain. She was also part
of the original cast of the Royal Shakespeare
Company’s The Secret Garden (RST, Stratford
upon Avon and the Aldwych Theatre); My Fair
Lady (Theatre Royal Drury Lane); Matthew
Bourne’s Nutcracker! (Sadler’s Wells, Japan and
South Korea tour); original cast of Mary
Poppins (Bristol Hippodrome and Prince
Edward Theatre); Matthew Bourne ‘s Swan
Lake playing the Unsuitable Girlfriend (Sadler’s
Wells, Europe, America, Australia and South
Korea tour). Most recently Agnes played the
Princess in Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale with
the Academy of St Martin in the Fields (UK tour
and the Wilton Musical Hall London).
